Salzburg Krampus 2024 Presidential. Nicholas leads a procession of krampus through a designated area (street, town center, castle, etc…). Every year around 900 active krampusse, nikolos and basket carriers take part in this event, which is known beyond the borders of salzburg.

This creepy alpine legend comes to live every december during the salzburg krampus run. One of the most popular areas for the german krampus is in the bercthesgadenerland (south east corner of germany, bordering austria, near salzburg).
